The International Journal for Bee-Keeping

Only €30.00 for 4 Issues per year.

With the demise of bees over the last few years many beekeepers world-wide have turned to a bee-centric, i.e. natural approach to beekeeping. Using minimum methods of management and by selecting more traditional homes for their bees they are finding that their colonies’ rates of survival supercede those that were formally kept in contemporary hives. Not only that, but they find that the whole ambience of their apiaries and their relationship with their bees makes time spent with them more enjoyable and gives them a positive outlook for the future of honeybee colonies.
Whilst we carried articles on this subject in the BKQ, we soon realised that there was so much being done in this sphere of beekeeping, on an international level, that bee-centric beekeeping deserved a journal of its own. Published for the first time in October 2016, the magazine has rapidly gained many subscribers from many parts of the world. Our writers including Tom Seeley David Heaf and Phil Chandler, for example, who are world experts on natural beekeeping. The magazine covers in detail both the practical and philosophical aspects of the subject as well as bringing to the fore a wide range of hive types from around the globe which are ideal for natural methods of beekeeping.
